KazTransGas was established in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 173 dated February 5, 2000. On June 9, 2004, in line with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Joint-Stock Companies" (No. 415-II dated May 13, 2003), the closed joint-stock company "KazTransGas" was renamed as the joint-stock company "KazTransGas".
